Flames of War

It's not all Sci fi on my desk, I'm working on finishing of my British Paras for Flames of war. I've had them for almost a year, but they get put to one side everytime something else comes up.

So far I have painted 2 platoons of Paras, an assault platoon, a mortar platoon, and a light AT battery. I also have a Vickers platoon to finish off and one more Para platoon. I'm looking to max out on pait teams as everyone seems to love tanks, and well paras don't have any.

I  have based them all on Kerr and King urban bases, they look great but take longer than the figures to paint with all the detail. My favourite piece is my observer team in the 2 story base, loads of character and fun to paint.

Once I've finished the last few bits here I just need to get some Heavy AT guns (Tigers have been spotted), an artillery battery and a platoon of Royal Engineers (very handy in FoW as they allow you to deploy mines and barbed wire) I might get a flight of Typhoons as well.
